A Canadian company is developing a wristband that could make electronic passwords, PINs and even bank cards obsolete by reading the wearer's heartbeat to determine an ID.
Toronto company Bionym says its wristband sensor creates a unique pattern that transmits that information to a computer or other device. If someone else puts on the wristband, it doesn't work.
Bionym says it's more secure than fingerprint, face or iris scans.
You can pre-order order one for $80 and it's expected to hit the market next spring.
